 The silicone applied to the tissues (elastic bands for stockings, components for medical articles, tapes for sportswear, etc.) is often suspected of being responsible for allergies and redness, especially because of the synthetic chemical elements that compose it.

For this reason, in cooperation with the producer of our silicone "Extra Grip" and the Department of Hygiene and Biotechnology of Hohenstein Institute, we developed a new formula that exceed the strict European tests concerning the safety of chemicals entering in direct contact with also the skin susceptible to developing allergies.

Our new silicone “Skinfriendly” and "Hypoallergenic" preserves all the already well-known mechanical properties of the silicone "Extra Grip" (excellent adhesion, high softness and elasticity, clarity and brightness) and in addition, thanks to its fine and unique composition, it is qualified for use in contact with the skin of sensitive people such as those with allergies, pregnant women, children, the disabled and the elderly.

In addition to this additional certification, valid for the newly developed silicone, our product is certified and guaranteed, however, with the class I (the most restrictive) of the Oeko-Tex Standard 100. Which means that our finished products and the application of silicone for third parties are still certified and guaranteed in order to protect our customers with guarantees recognized at European level.
